Founder and Head Coach of the Arizona Track Stars have been successful at developing talent over the past decade. He started his coaching career with a local USATF club where he served two years as the sprint coach to some of today’s top athletes. After completion of his assignment, He had a bigger vision to not only work with athletes but to be a mentor to youth across communities. Out of this, he founded the Arizona Track Stars which is a subsidiary of a bigger vision he had to help serve the west valley and give kids an alternative to misguided directions through athletics and mentorship. Over this period he has produced several Junior Olympic All Americans and received the honor of coaching a national titleholder. Coach CMO is a USATF Certified Coach that has completed his Level 1 certification.

I have been coaching for a total of 14 years. I was fortunate to be in Fry’s and in the process of putting a club team together when I was fortunate to meet with Coach CMO. After an hour and a half talking in the deli department a light bulb came on with us both and it was to join Arizona Track Stars . Without hesitation and prayer I jumped at the opportunity and have been coaching hurdles and sprints for 6 years. Coaching with the Arizona Track Stars has been an outlet for me in giving back to the kids we coach and setting a standard of excellence on and off the track. Having a great coaching staff with the Track Stars has only grown relationships among us coaches and true friendships. This is a bond that truly cultivates in what we are able to share with the kids and their parents.

I have been coaching for about 5 years now, was a football and track athlete in High school and College. They call me the muscle on the team, but can be fun loving, but always strive to get the best out the kids while making sure their having fun. I have enjoyed everything that has come with this opportunity of being a Track Star coach, we going to keep these wheels (legs) rolling!!

My name is Austen Davis and this will be my 3rd year coaching with the Arizona Track Stars. I have been a competitive athlete and trainer for 10 years now. Giving back the knowledge I’ve gain to the youth to help them reach their goal is something I take pride in. Sports teaches live lessons our goal as a club is to bring out the best in our athletes beyond the track. They are our Future……. Hard Work on 3!!
